Center fielder Mike Cameron, barring a setback, will come off the disabled list and start tonight against his former Mets teammate Pedro Martinez, Padres manager Bruce Bochy said yesterday. Cameron last played for the Padres on March 30, the day of the club's final Cactus League exhibition and a day before he injured an oblique muscle in batting practice. Cameron played nine innings for Single-A Lake Elsinore last night and went 1-for-4. ?It's going to make our team better,? said left fielder Dave Roberts, who started in center in 10 of the first 16 games. ?I'm excited to have him in the lineup. There are so many dimensions he brings. We need a little spark. It's going to make us better offensively and defensively.?
