Former All-Star Chris Capuano is getting closer to the mound for the Brewers. Capuano, who is recovering from the second Tommy John surgery of his career, has been promoted from Class A Advanced Brevard County to Triple-A Nashville. In three starts at Brevard County, Capuano was 2-0 with a 1.23 ERA and 17 strikeouts versus zero walks. "The concern there wasn't the numbers, it was, 'Can he handle the physicality of pitching?' " assistant GM Gordon Ash said. "He's ready for the challenge of getting more advanced hitters out."
