Yankees right fielder Xavier Nady injured his right elbow in a routine throw during Tuesday night's 7-2 win over the Rays.
Nady is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Wednesday to determine the extent of the damage.
"I have dealt with elbow issues before. A lot of times they have been bothersome and irritating, but tonight was pretty painful," said Nady.
Nady had Tommy John surgery in 2001 on the elbow.
