The Blue Jays have shut down pitcher Shaun Marcum for the final week of the season after he had an MRI on Thursday, according to Associated Press. Marcum, 9-7 with a 3.39 ERA, left Tuesday's game against Baltimore with a sore arm and numbness in his pinkie. "We'll have confirmation tomorrow," GM J.P. Ricciardi said when asked whether Marcum might require surgery. "I don't want to speculate on anything."
