Tigers' reliever Joel Zumaya could make his return to the Major Leagues by next weekend, according to The Detroit Free Press. In a one-inning outing on Saturday in the minors, Zumaya allowed no runs or hits while striking out one. Manager Jim Leyland said Saturday that the club's plan is for Zumaya to pitch back-to-back days, probably Monday and Tuesday. If all goes well, he could join the Tigers by next weekend.
