Catcher Jorge Posada will not need surgery on his ailing right shoulder, but he will be out of the lineup until June, according to the New York Post. Posada was examined by four different doctors, with all four giving him the same advice and diagnosis. "It just needs rest and needs to get the shoulder strong," said Posada, who admitted that a best-case scenario will have him back with the Yankees in five weeks. "They told me six weeks. They want me to rest for six weeks," Posada said. "I don't think it's going to happen. So I just hope that when I start throwing, there's some improvement and I can get stronger. That's my biggest thing."
