The Oakland A's have acquired Jurickson Profar from the Texas Rangers as part of a three-team trade.

The Rays get reliever Emilio Pagan and the 38th overall pick in the 2019 draft from the A's and minor league pitcher Rollie Lacy from the Rangers.

The Rangers receive Rays minor league relievers Brock Burke, Kyle Bird and Yoel Espinal, A's minor league infielder Eli White and international slot money.

Profar hit .254 last season with 20 homers. Profar played mainly shortstop and third base last season, but he could also be a replacement for Oakland at second base if Jed Lowrie.

The Cleveland Indians are still discussing the possibility of trading Corey Kluber, according to sources.

The Los Angeles Dodgers, Milwaukee Brewers, Philadelphia Phillies and Cincinnati Reds are among the teams that have shown interest in Kluber over the past couple of weeks.

The New York Yankees have interest in trading Miguel Andujar, according to multiple rival executives.

Andujar finished second in American League Rookie of the Year voting.

Andujar had an .855 OPS and 27 homers, but struggled defensively.

The San Diego Padres are believed to be a team interested in Andujar. 

The Houston Astros have agreed to sign Michael Brantley to a two-year, $32 million deal.

Brantley gives the Astros a left-handed bat in the middle of their lineup.

Brantley hit .309 with 17 homers and 76 RBIs in 2018 after missing most of 2016 and 2017 with injuries.

The Cleveland Indians acquired Brantley in 2008 as part of the CC Sabathia deal.

The Chicago White Sox have no plans to trade Jose Abreu.

They acquired Yonder Alonso from the Cleveland Indians on Saturday, but that doesn't mean they'll move their current first baseman.

Abreu, 31, can become a free agent next offseason.

The Cleveland Indians have been expected to move Corey Kluber and/or Trevor Bauer at some point, but that may now be less likely.

The Indians aren't as motivated by financial concerns after trading Yan Gomes, Edwin Encarnacion and Yonder Alonso.

The moves trimmed approximately $18 million from Cleveland's 2019 payroll.

The Indians also signed Carlos Carrasco to a three-year extension earlier this offseason.

Noah Syndergaard has been the subject of trade rumors recently, but the right-hander displayed his loyalty to the New York Mets on Instagram this weekend.

Syndergaard has been linked to the New York Yankees and Miami Marlins in trade possibilities.

Under a photo of himself in his Mets' uniform, Syndergaard posted: "My Team, Our Colors, New York's Future."

While Atlanta has continued to be linked to J.T. Realmuto rumors, a source said Saturday night the Braves exited the Winter Meetings with the understanding there will not be any further reason for them to discuss trading for the Marlins' All-Star catcher.

The Chicago White Sox have acquired first baseman Yonder Alonso in a trade with the Cleveland Indians, according to multiple reports.

The Indians will get minor league outfielder Alex Call in the deal, which is expected to be finalized Saturday, reports said.

The Seattle Mariners have acquired Edwin Encarnacion from the Cleveland Indians.

Carlos Santana is going back to the Indians as part of the three-team deal, which also includes the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Indians will receive Jake Bauers from the Rays, while Tampa Bay will get Yandy Diaz from Cleveland.

Tampa Bay will send $5 million to Seattle, and the Mariners will pay $6 million to Cleveland.

The Indians also are sending minor league pitcher Cole Sulser to the Rays and the 77th pick in the 2019 competitive balance draft to the Mariners.
