Astros owner Drayton McLane is putting his franchise up for sale, according to an Associated Press report on Friday. The 74-year-old McLane says he?s retained the New York investment firm Allen and Company to help him unload the team he?s owned since 1992.

Former Major League Baseball player Elijah Dukes has been jailed in Tampa on charges related to allegedly failing to pay child support. Dukes appeared in 280 games over three seasons for the Rays and Nationals, who released him before the 2010 season. He had numerous on- and off-field problems before the Nationals acquired him from the Rays in a trade before the 2008 season.
