Jan 28, 2020 7:50 AM

Clayton Kershaw is waiting for an apology from the Houston Astros in the wake of the sign-stealing scandal.

"It is a little bit interesting that the Astros players haven't said sorry or meant it or anything like that," Kershaw told the Los Angeles Times.

"Just not a whole lot of remorse yet, which they did win a World Series, and they're not taking it back, so I don't know. Maybe there isn't. But it would be good to hear from some of those guys and just what they have to say about it and maybe mean it a little bit. It'd be good."

Dallas Keuchel, who is now with the Chicago White Sox, became the first member of the 2017 team to publicly apologize, and he said the rest of his former teammates should do the same.

Cody Bellinger On Astros, Red Sox: Dodgers Did It 'The Right Way'

Jan 13, 2020 8:30 AM

The Los Angeles Dodgers have won seven straight division titles, but haven't won a World Series since 1988.

The Dodgers have lost back-to-back World Series to the Houston Astros and Boston Red Sox, who have both been entangled in a sign-stealing scandal.

"Honestly, we're curious to see what happens," Cody Bellinger said. "It sucks, man. We were close, but we did it the right way."

The Red Sox used their video replay room to decipher signs from opposing catchers, which were then relayed to baserunners, who could inform hitters which pitch was coming, according to reports.

The Astros set up a monitor just outside their dugout to steal signs and banged on trash cans to alert hitters when an off-speed pitch was coming.
