Hanley Ramirez said he's working on a contract extension with the Dodgers.

Ramirez wouldn't discuss years and salary, but while commemorating Team Dominican Republic's championship in the WBC at an event Thursday in Santo Domingo, he told ESPN Deportes that a deal could come this winter.

Ted Lilly Retires To Due Chronic Neck Pain

Ted Lilly has decided to pain due to chronic neck pain.

"I am retiring," Lilly wrote. "I don't want to, but I think it is the realistic decision."

Lilly made just five starts in 2013 and was released by the Los Angeles Dodgers in August.

Lilly also played for the Chicago Cubs, New York Yankees, Oakland Athletics, Toronto Blue Jays and Montreal Expos

Dan Haren Agrees To Join Dodgers

Dan Haren and the Dodgers have agreed to a one-year deal worth $10M, according to 

The deal, which reportedly includes a 2015 option that vests at 180 innings pitched, is contingent on the right-hander passing a physical.

Haren had expressed his desire to pitch on the West Coast after spending one season with the Nationals, where he went 10-14 with a 4.67 ERA.

There have been indications that the New York Yankees could go as high as $70 million for Masahiro Tanaka's posting fee, which would eliminate all suitors except for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The 25-year-old Japanese right-hander was 24-0 this past season for the Rakuten Golden Eagles.

The Boston Red Sox and Chicago Cubs have been linked to Tanaka as well.

Nolasco Has Multiple Four-Year Offers

Ricky Nolasco has received multiple four-year contract offers, according to his agent.

"I believe the market for multiple-year starting pitching will start to reveal itself more clearly in the next two to three weeks," agent Matt Sosnick said.

Sosnick declined to mention any specific suitors.

The starting price on Nolasco "is Edwin Jackson money" (four years, $52 million) and "may end up at Derek Lowe" (four years, $60 million)," according to a league source.

Nineteen of the 21 surveyed predicted that Cano would re-sign with the Yankees, with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs each receiving a single vote.

Nolasco had an impressive second half with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was not eligible for a qualifying offer after getting traded during the regular season.

He went 8-1 with a 2.07 ERA in his first 12 starts after getting traded from the Miami Marlins to the Dodgers.
