Gary Sheffield told the New York Post that he won't be playing in right field again this season because of a strained left thigh. "I am done doing that," Sheffield told the newspaper. "I don't see it getting any better." Although the injury isn't keeping Sheffield on the bench, the slugger is disappointed he isn't able to play in the field. "I like to make a difference in both places," Sheffield told the Post. "We are a stronger team if I am on the field. I would like to let the guys who are used to be the DH, be the DH."
