After trading Dan Haren on Friday, the Athletics lost another starting pitcher. Righthander Chad Gaudin will have surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left hip on Tuesday in New Orleans, the club announced Saturday. In addition, Gaudin will have right foot surgery on Tuesday. The estimated recovery time for the surgeries is eight to 12 weeks.
