With former Sen. George Mitchell's report on steroids in baseball expected to be released in the next two months, a conference call with all 30 major league teams was held Friday to prepare them for what is coming. According to a report on ESPN.com, some officials came away from the call believing the report would contain bombshell names, many of which haven't been linked to steroids before. Tom Carlucci, a lawyer for Major League Baseball, conducted the call yesterday and, according to the report, told team representatives the report is going to be "salacious." Reached by phone last night, Carlucci declined to comment.
