Paul Lo Duca returned to Shea Stadium Tuesday to clean out his locker and made it clear he hoped to be back next season. Problem is, he wants a multi-year deal that the Mets seem reluctant to give to him. "Definitely I've been very vocal about that," Lo Duca said yesterday on his weekly spot on WFAN. "I told you guys, I told everybody, I want to come back here. They have the core to go a long way and be winners for a long time." Lo Duca also voiced support for manager Willie Randolph, saying the players were to blame for the Mets' historic collapse, and said that he did not notice a problem between Randolph and the front office.
