Freddy Garcia's comeback could be finished Thursday.
The righthander has not pitched for the Phillies since June 8 in Kansas City because of a strained right shoulder. He recently made three rehab starts - one for the rookie-level Gulf Coast League Phillies and two for single-A Clearwater - but he plans to meet Thursday with orthopedist James Andrews in Birmingham, Ala., to talk about his shoulder.
If Andrews recommends an operation, Garcia could have surgery that day.
