Astros righthander Roy Oswalt, who left Saturday's game against the San Diego Padres after 4⅔ innings with a strained left oblique muscle, will likely miss his next scheduled start Thursday against the Washington Nationals. Oswalt was still in pain Sunday morning and didn't anticipate the injury getting dramatically better in the coming days. He said he'll make a decision Monday or Tuesday on whether he'll make his next start. "It doesn't feel great," he said. "It hurts." Oswalt will throw off flat ground likely Tuesday, but plans to skip his between-starts bullpen session.
