Mets general manager Omar Minaya is hoping he will get a call sometime today telling him what he has waited two months to hear: Moises Alou is ready to play in a baseball game. Minaya said after yesterday's 5-2 Mets win over the Reds that Alou, the team's leftfielder, is "scheduled" to play in a rehab game in Port St. Lucie, Fla., today. But it won't be a definite go until Alou checks in with the Mets' medical people this morning. Alou has been out of action since May 13 with a strained left quad. At the time he was hurt, the Mets held off putting him on the DL for four days because they thought he might be back in a few days.
