Toronto Blue Jays ace Roy Halladay will not return from the disabled list on Sunday as the club had hoped. Halladay was expected to come back from his fractured left leg and start Sunday against the New York Yankees, but he is still experiencing pain while planting his foot during his delivery. "He wanted to pitch Sunday, but we had to slow him down a bit," pitching coach Brad Arnsberg said Friday. Halladay has been able to throw a simulated game and side sessions in the bullpen, but his leg isn't healthy enough to let him take fielding practice. That's the critical test he must pass before the team will let him take the mound in a game.
