There appears to be a possibility that Jackson Holliday, baseball's top prospect, will make the Opening Day roster for the Baltimore Orioles.

"We're bringing him into camp with a chance to make the team, and he's going to be laser-focused on making the team," O's general manager Mike Elias told MLB Network Radio. "If he does make the team, we're going to put him on the Opening Day roster."

Baltimore will open the season on March 28 against the Los Angeles Angels at Camden Yards.

Elias said in December that Holliday would get time at both shortstop (his primary position) and second base during the spring, as the 2022 No. 1 overall Draft pick has the ability to play both at a high level.
