Josh Hader didn't define exactly what his role will be with the Houston Astros, but he made it clear the club expects to win more championships.

It appears likely that Hader will take over as closer, pushing Ryan Pressly back to setup man.

"We signed here to win baseball games, to win a championship," Hader said. "I think like [general manager Dana Brown] said, Ryan's in the same boat and we're all in the same boat to do whatever we can and win ballgames and take it to the final step."

Hader will get a $19 million salary in each of the next five seasons, none of it deferred. He gets a full no-trade provision.
