The New York Mets are one of the clubs in the mix to sign Japanese right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto.

If Yamamoto signs elsewhere, the Mets could pivot toward Blake Snell, according to a report.

Snell is also on the radar of the Boston Red Sox.
