Chicago Cubs right-hander Michael Fulmer is expected to miss the 2024 season following elbow surgery.

Fulmer, 30, had UCL revision surgery on his right elbow on Wednesday.

UCL revision surgery is not the same as Tommy John surgery, but focuses on the same area.

Fulmer ended the season on the injured list after going 3-5 with a 4.42 ERA and two saves in 58 games (one start). He is set to become a free agent after playing on a one-year, $4 million contract.
