Shane McClanahan is frustrated but determined following his second Tommy John surgery.

The Tampa Bay Rays All-Star met with the media for the first time on Wednesday night since undergoing the procedure Aug. 21.

"I'm feeling about as good as I can be and, obviously, frustrated," said McClanahan, who is not expected back until the 2025 season.

"It's unfortunate, but I take a lot of pride in taking that ball and representing this community and my teammates when I take the ball and when I'm out there competing. I'm already missing it, I really am, but I'm working my butt off to get back."
