The Los Angeles Dodgers have shifted Tony Gonsolin to the 60-day injured list, officially ending his season.

Gonsolin was placed on the 15-day IL on August 19 due to right forearm inflammation. At the time, Dave Roberts admitted that Gonsolin probably wouldn't pitch again.

The exact nature of Gonsolin's injury isn't quite known, and Roberts Sunday told the Orange County Register's Bill Plunkett and other reporters that the right-hander had undergone an MRI.

After being named a National League All-Star in 2022 and posting a 2.14 ERA over 24 starts, Gonsolin has struggled this season. He'll end with a 4.98 ERA over 20 starts.
