The Detroit Tigers played Riley Greene in a position other than center field for the first time in his Major League career on Monday night.

Greene manned right field, while recently promoted Parker Meadows was in center.

Meadows was drafted as a center fielder, while Greene has been below average defensively at the position this season.

The Tigers have suggested that Meadows will take over primary duties in center, but also added that the move "doesn't mean (Greene's) days in center are over."
