The San Francisco Giants have announced that top pitching prospect Kyle Harrison will make his Major League debut on Tuesday against the Philadelphia Phillies.

"We think he is ready," Gabe Kapler said of the left-hander who has 109 strikeouts in 67 2/3 innings in the minor leagues this season. "He's a great guy with an unbelievable work ethic, so I'm excited to see him and our team is excited to see him."

Harrison was chosen in the third round of the 2020 draft.

The 22-year-old is No. 36 in ESPN's midseason list of top 50 MLB prospects.
