Shortstop Clint Barmes said he has full range of motion in his injured left shoulder and thinks he can be back in the lineup by September. Barmes was hitting .329 and was a strong candidate for NL Rookie of the Year when, on June 5, he broke his collarbone in a fluke accident. He slipped and fell while carrying a package of deer meat he got at teammate Todd Helton's ranch up the stairs to his apartment. Barmes had surgery and the Rockies said he would miss about 12 weeks. That would put him in line for a September return, and Barmes thinks he can make it by then. He said he plans to do some running and maybe some throwing beginning Tuesday.
