Toronto Blue Jays rookie Davis Schneider has become the first player in Major League history to record nine hits in his first three games.

Schneider was ranked as the club's No. 28 prospect by MLB Pipeline when he was promoted. He hit two home runs in his debut series against the Boston Red Sox.

"I'm a big stat guy when it comes to MLB history," Schneider said as he searched for words. "That's pretty cool to be one of one. I can't really describe it."
