Last month, Gene Mato, one of the agents for Manny Ramirez, indicated in a Herald story the slugger was at peace and wanted to stay with Boston for the remainder of his playing career. When asked about being in Boston, if Mato?s words were true, that?s almost what Manny had to say on Tuesday. ?I got two years left, and that?s it. That?s the end of the story. I?m going to move on. I?m going to play, probably somewhere else,? Ramirez said. ?But don?t worry. I?m going to be fine here. I?m not going to leave $35 million on the table. ?There?s no problem,? he answered when asked why he asks to be traded on an annual basis. ?I?ve been here six years. I ain?t got no problem with anybody. You don?t have to believe me, but I?m telling you what I?m doing." ?I have two more years left to play. If I want to play, I play. If not, I move on. I don?t know if I?m coming back, if I?m going to retire, if I?m going to play. If I want to play, I play. I just don?t know where.?
