"I was ahead of schedule two weeks after the surgery," Martinez said. "Everything went really well. But the thing is there was a piece of bone taken out. My physical shape and range of motion - it's all there. If you ask me about that, I could throw now. But taking the ligaments off the bone again would be devastating. That would be it."
