Ray Durham, who holds a $7 million player option for next season, doesn't want to leave, and he's relayed that message to club brass. "Hopefully, they hear me," he said.It was hard to ignore the noise from Durham's bat Friday night. He had four hits and tied a club record with three doubles, one of which cleared the bases in a 6-0 victory over the Dodgers. Michael Tucker, another veteran who could be traded, also collected four hits and even took a page out of Durham's book by leading off the game with a home run. Tucker completed his grand day with a sliding catch in right field in the eighth. "I think we'll be all right, if our pitchers can keep us in ballgames," Durham said. "Anything can happen ? anything. We can run off 20 wins in a month. That's definitely possible. We're definitely not giving up. I hope management doesn't give up either." Durham, who has a limited no-trade protection that keeps him from being dealt to another West Coast club, said he wants to stay a Giant. "I like the atmosphere," he said. "I like the clubhouse and the coaches. I don't want to go anywhere, but it's not something I control."
