The Milwaukee Brewers have traded Erik Kratz to the San Francisco Giants for minor league infielder C.J. Hinojoso.

Kratz, 39, was a significant part of Milwaukee's NLDS victory over the Colorado Rockies last fall. He went 5-for-8 with two RBIs in the series.

The Brewers officially signed reliever Alex Wilson to fill Erik Kratz's roster spot.
