The San Diego Padres have made a "very aggressive" offer to Manny Machado, according to a report.

It was reported back in late January that the Padres had interest in Machado and fellow free agent Bryce Harper.

The Chicago White Sox, New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies also remain in the mix for Machado.
