Brian Cashman has said the New York Yankees would be active this offseason, while also throwing cold water on the notion of signing Bryce Harper.

On Wednesday, Cashman seemingly left anything open for possibility.

"If something doesn't make sense today, it doesn't mean it won't make sense tomorrow," Cashman said when asked again about Harper. "All I can keep telling you is, you know where my current focuses are, but at the same time we're a fully operational Death Star."

The Yankees' main needs are starting pitching, bullpen help and middle infielders.
