The Seattle Mariners have agreed to the terms of a new 25-year lease for the team to remain at Safeco Field.

On Wednesday night, the Washington State Major League Baseball Stadium Public Facilities District Board approved the agreement.

There are also a pair of three-year options on the lease that could extend the Mariners' stay in the park all the way through 2049.

The Mariners will be contributing roughly $650 million over the life of the lease, which will go toward rent, maintenance, improvements and a neighborhood improvement fund, among other expenditures.
