Carlos Correa has been one of baseball's best shortstops, but he believes he can "do better" this coming season.

"I still have some holes in my game that people might not notice, but I do," he said. "I want to get better at that to have an even better season than last year. Last year was my best year yet by far, it was a great year, but I think I can do so many things better."

The Houston Astros star didn't reveal what he's been focused on and it's hard to identify what holes there might be.

Correa hit a career-best .315 with 24 homers and 84 RBIs last year despite being slowed by a thumb injury that kept him out from mid-July to September. He returned to form by the postseason and hit five homers and drove in 14 runs in the playoffs to help the Astros to their first World Series title.
