Bryce Harper used his first meeting of the season with reporters to declare that he won't discuss his impending free agency.

"Just want to let you guys know I will not be discussing anything relative to 2019, at all," Harper said. "I'm focused on this year. I'm focused on winning and playing hard, like every single year. So if you guys have any questions about anything after 2018, you can call Scott [Boras] and he can answer you guys."

The last time Harper was fully healthy for an entire season, he was the unanimous choice for National League MVP in 2015.

"I thought my offseason went great," he said. "Lower half feels really good, upper body feels really good. Pretty proportional. I had no setbacks. Nothing holding me back. And I felt great."
