Yadier Molina plans to play out his current contract with the St. Louis Cardinals and then retire.

"Three more years," Molina said. "That's it."

The catcher is about to enter his 15th Major League season. He is entering the first season of a three-year, $60 million extension he signed last April.

Molina has no plans to reduce that workload in 2018.

"Thank God my body feels fine," he said. "I have no problems with it. Hopefully, I keep that for three more years."
