Just a few days after coming off the disabled list, Andrew Miller left Monday night's game with an aggravation of the tendinitis in his right knee that sidelined him for most of the month.

Miller threw just seven pitches and none of them topped 92 mph for the Cleveland Indians.

"I wasn't doing us any favors," he said. "It's not a situation I want to put the guys in, but I think that it was the right move for me to take myself out of the game. I hope it's not something that holds me back. Hopefully it's something that's just a blip in the whole scheme of things."

Terry Francona said the Indians plan to meet with their medical staff Tuesday to discuss a plan for Miller.

"We'll go back to the drawing board," Francona said. "It's not what we were hoping for. We'll let the medical people put their heads together and see what they can do."
