Giancarlo Stanton cleared waivers on Sunday, according to multiple sources, meaning that the Miami Marlins can trade him to any team through the end of August.

Stanton is baseball's hottest hitter and clubbed his 44th home run on Tuesday night. He has 10 years and $295 million remaining on his contract.

According to sources, at least four teams have inquired about Stanton and in some negotiations names have been discussed.
