The San Diego Padres recently told other clubs that they are "open for business" and reliever Brad Hand is receiving a lot of interest, according to a report.

Hand, 27, has emerged as a useful bullpen arm since the Padres claimed him off waivers from the Miami Marlins last April.

Since then, Hand has posted a 2.65 ERA ball with a 146-to-46 K/BB ratio in 115 1/3 innings.
