After a pair of close losses this weekend, Brad Ausmus said the Detroit Tigers will discuss the closer situation going forward.

"We're really going to have to talk about it before we make any decisions," Ausmus said. "We're going to have to have a discussion."

Ausmus voiced support for Francisco Rodriguez after a one-run loss on Saturday, but changed his tune after the reliever gave up three runs in the ninth inning on Sunday.

Rodriguez has four blown saves in 11 opportunities.

"I can't recall going through such a bad moment like I'm going through right now," Rodriguez said. "I'm extremely disappointed. Just want to send out apologies to my team and the fans. Totally embarrassed. More embarrassed than anything else."

Justin Wilson is Detroit's eighth-inning man, making him a likely option if they make a change.
