Clayton Kershaw wasn't happy with Tyler Anderson's walk from the bullpen in right field to the dugout prior to Wednesday night's game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Colorado Rockies.

Anderson had just finished his pregame warm-ups as Kershaw was getting ready to pitch.

"That was ... I mean, that was one of the more disrespectful things I have been a part of in a game," Kershaw said.

"I really didn't appreciate that," he added. "The game starts at 7:10 and has started at 7:10 here for a long time. Just go around, or finish earlier. But yeah, that wasn't appreciated, for sure."

Anderson said the delay was unintentional. Kershaw put three Rockies on base and allowed a run in the top of the first inning.

"I threw a few extra pitches in the bullpen before the game," Anderson said. "I didn't mean any disrespect by it. I was surprised the umpire didn't let him pitch."
