The Philadelphia Phillies have signed Obudel Herrera to a five-year contract extension that will guarantee the center fielder $30.5 million, according to a source.

The contract also includes club options for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.

Herrera would not have been eligible for arbitration for another year.
