Kenta Maeda will start Game 5 of the NLCS for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Dave Roberts has confirmed.

The Dodgers had considered pitching Clayton Kershaw on short rest, but he'll start Game 6 on Saturday instead.

"[Thursday] is not an elimination game or a deciding game," Roberts said with the series tied at two games apiece.

Maeda, 28, said he hasn't been happy with the way he has pitched in two games this postseason but believes that will change on Thursday.
