The New York Yankees will be without Aaron Judge for the remainder of the season because of an oblique injury.

"These things usually take a while," Brian Cashman said of the injury, adding that Judge might be able to return if the Yankees make a run in the playoffs.

Judge, 24, is hitting .179 with four homers and 10 RBIs while striking out in half of his 84 at-bats. He had an MRI on Wednesday.

"He obviously struggled with the strikeouts," Cashman said. "Part of the process was to get him up here and get the growing pains out of the way and speed up the adjustment process."
