Michael Fulmer will make three more starts before the end of the regular season, Brad Ausmus has confirmed.

That means the 23-year-old won't have any starts skipped as the Detroit Tigers monitor his workload and innings. He will, however, receive extra rest.

"I'll pitch whenever they tell me to," Fulmer said. "I'm not going to argue with [Ausmus]."

Fulmer has pitched 143.2 innings so far in the majors -- on top of the 15.1 innings pitched in Triple-A prior to his recall. He pitched 124.2 innings in 2015.
