Jacob deGrom continued to struggle on Thursday despite three extra days of rest.

After he labored in the fifth inning and his fastball velocity dipped as low as 91 mph, deGrom called for the medical staff.

"Everthing's fine," deGrom said. "I was frustrated with how I pitched. I didn't feel great out there tonight. I just wanted to talk to Ray [Ramirez]. ... I'm fine."

Pressed on what "didn't feel great" meant, the New York Mets pitcher added: "Just kind of out of sync out there. I waved him in to talk to him, but there's nothing wrong."
