Dallas Keuchel was slated to start Friday when the Houston Astros open a three-game series with the Texas Rangers, but A.J. Hinch announced Wednesday that Keuchel's next start would be pushed back a day or two.

"This time of season, all of our guys deal with fatigue, and Dallas is going through a little thing here where he's got a little bit of fatigue that we'd like to give him an extra day," Hinch said.

Doug Fister will start in Keuchel's place. Hinch said the move also keeps Fister on a regular rotation.
