Mike Trout was involved in a serious highway crash Wednesday night in Orange County in which he was uninjured after a home game in Anaheim.

Two people were sent to hospitals as a result of two related incidents on the 55 freeway in Tustin, according to emergency personnel officials.

Los Angeles Angels general manager Billy Eppler confirmed Trout's involvement in the crash and said in a statement that he had spoken to the 2014 American League MVP and that "he feels fine."

One person was removed from a car using the Jaws of Life, the Orange County Register reported.
